Eric Swanson
Eric Swanson (Founder/Director/Pianist) holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Adrian College. Eric studied voice with Elizabeth Major from 2002-2007 and currently studies with Dr. Drake Dantzler at Oakland University, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in music education. Eric is a founder of, and currently serves as Artistic Director for, The Detroit Actor's Theatre Company.
Eric feels blessed to have been cast in many musical theatre and opera productions. Some of his favorites are The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion), Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius Hackle), Chicago (Mary Sunshine), Once on this Island (Papa Ge), Hansel and Gretel (Witch), The Producers (Roger Elizabeth DeBris) Hair (Margaret Mead) and Hairspray (Edna Turnblad). He sends love to all his fellow Motif cast mates and thanks them for their love, support, talent, and passion for music.
